Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
  • We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential and that this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and not as a result of good works.
  • We believe in the recent ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to perform good works.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • We believe in the present (not recent) move of the Holy Spirit.

 

Statement of Purpose

  1. To lead the lost to Jesus Christ our Savior
  2. To keep through His name all those who have made Him their Lord and Savior
  3. To be a channel through which Christ may reveal Himself by His Spirit, through His Word

Articles of Faith

  1. WE BELIEVE Jesus Christ to be the only begotten son of God and Savior of the world. (John 1:14 & John 3:16)
  2. WE BELIEVE that salvation is only made possible by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. (John 1:29 & Acts 4:12)
  3. WE BELIEVE that entry into the Kingdom of God is possible only through the born again experience. (John 3:1-9 & Peter 1:2)
  4. WE BELIEVE in the sanctifying power of the word of God. (John 17:17 & 1 Peter 1:2)
  5. WE BELIEVE in the financial system (tithes & offerings) established by God under the Old Covenant which was governed by law (Malachi 3:10) and reaffirmed by Christ in the New Covenant now governed by love. (Matthew 5:17 & 23:23)
  6. WE BELIEVE in water baptism by immersion, in obedience to the commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19 & Acts 8:36-39)
  7. WE BELIEVE in the nine spiritual gifts as recorded in (1 Corinthians 12:7-10), and the five gifts of ministry in (Ephesians 4:11)
  8. WE BELIEVE in the whole word of God, both Old and New Testaments, (2 Timothy 3:16), the New Testament being our rule of government and practice. (Hebrews 9:15)
  9. WE BELIEVE in Bible Prophecy so long as it is rightly divided. (2 Peter 1:19-21 & 2 Timothy 2:15)
  10. WE BELIEVE in the soon return of Jesus Christ to the earth to establish His Kingdom over all other kingdoms of the world. (Revelation 11:15 & 5:9-10)
  11. WE BELIEVE that Satan will be bound for 1000 years during Christ's Kingdom on earth. (Revelation 20:1-2)
  12. WE BELIEVE at the end of the 1000 year reign of Christ the Great White Throne of Judgment will occur, bringing about the resurrection of both the wicked and the righteous and the final destruction of Satan, also the beginning of the New Heaven and New Earth. (Revelation 20 & 21)
